The Hillsborough Public Works Department is the largest department in the Town of Hillsborough with 31 full-time staff members. The Public Works Department is responsible for the overall planning, maintenance, operation, and improvement of public infrastructure, including streets, storm drainage, sewer, and water.
The department also provides project management services for a majority of the town's annual Capital Improvement Program. In partnering with the community, our goal is to provide cost-effective services in a personal, responsive, and innovative manner.
The Public Works Department has made it easier to report and track non-emergency problems that residents encounter in their community by selecting the report tab below and completing the form. The location of the non-emergency issue can be identified by entering a specific address, or by dragging the red marker to the location within the community. After identifying the location of the issue, select the next button and share any details that are available. This information will be transmitted to the Public Works Department and will be addressed as soon as possible. A SeeClickFix application is also available for iPhone, Blackberry, and Android. Information can be reported from your smart phone by downloading the app.
