A gas leak can represent an immediate threat to health and safety, call 9-1-1 to have the Fire Department dispatched.  PG&E maintains the gas lines in Hillsborough.

What do I do to prepare for an earthquake or other disaster?
The Department of Homeland Security offers an excellent site as does the California Department of Emergency Services.

Where is my water shut off?
Typically it is in the front of your home.  Often it is a red wheel or lever located on the lower portion of a pipe leading to a water spout. If you have a break in your lateral line, the water needs to be shut off at the street.  Please call public works or a plumber for assistance.
