The Town of Hillsborough will e-mail brief “e-announcements” to those residents who have signed up to receive them. These “e-announcements” will include timely notices of Town meetings, programs and other Town events of interest, reminders of upcoming town deadlines, tips from the Town departments and emergency alerts. The “e-announcements” will be sent out once a month and will be in addition to, not a substitute for, the current quarterly Newsletter sent to all residents by regular mail and is also available online. August 20, 7:00pm “Ratouille” Pixar animated hit film. Remy is a young rat in the French countryside who arrives in Paris with dreams of being a renowned chef. The movie will be shown in the Town Hall Community Room – pajamas and pillows welcome!
“Drive-in” Family Movie Night with Special Guest
To be held outside Town Hall, attendees should bring lawn chairs and blankets.
September 10, 8:00 p.m. “Iron Giant” – A boy makes friends with an innocent alien giant robot that a paranoid government agent wants to destroy. Special guest John Walker, the producer of “Iron Giant” and the Pixar hit “The Incredibles” will introduce the movie and be available after for questions.

Thank you to the more than 1,400 residents who submitted their contact information to Hillsborough Neighborhood Network (HNN), the Town’s emergency preparedness effort. The information is currently being organized, and all will be contacted shortly. The next general meetings of HNN are scheduled for Wednesday, September 22nd at 10am and 7pm at Town Hall.
