Financial Services:
Financial Services section provides the following services for the City: payroll, purchasing, accounts payable, accounting, budget preparation and annual financial report, treasury management and investments, general liability and property risk insurance procurement.

Revenue Services:
Revenue Services section handles utility billing (water and sewer) and collections, business license administration, accounts receivable billing and collections including alarm permits and alarm monitoring fees and receipt and deposit of all cash received by the City.

Information Technology:
Network, desktop support and various information technology management services are contracted out with the City of South San Francisco. The Finance Department manages the contract and is responsible for managing all the financial applications including payroll, accounting, purchasing and utility billing as well as the internet applications.
