Phone the Police Department (650) 375-7470, 24 hours in advance of your departure and request to be placed on the "Watch List."

• Obtain a timer for inside lights.
• Give your house key to the Police Department or a trusted neighbor, friend or relative.
• Notify neighbors with a vantage view of your home to keep on alert for strange activity.
• Stop all deliveries, including mail and newspapers.
