Vista Park

Vista Park, located at 1030 Vista Road in the heart of Hillsborough, has been completely renovated, and the town welcomes you and your family to visit. The park is located on Vista Road between Culebra and Chiltern.

In 2006, Vista Park was the recipient of a complete makeover and improvement, thanks to the very generous donation received from Hillsborough Beautification Foundation as well as grant funding the town received from the State of California.

The park includes an impressive arbor, picnic tables, and separate play equipment for children under 5 years of age and older kids. There is also a rubberized ground surfacing, exciting climbing rocks, and a huge play field complete with a clamshell backstop. The park is accessible to persons in wheelchairs.

Commemoration

When you enter Vista Park, the names of generous contributors have been memorialized in the form of engraved bricks that mark the walkway and on a commemorative rock.

Additional Information

  • Residents are advised to refrain from bringing BBQ equipment, as it is not allowed.
  • Articles lost at the park can be claimed at Town Hall (1600 Floribunda Avenue) up to 1 week after loss. Unclaimed items are donated to charity.

Centennial Park

The garden was renovated in 2009 thanks to the Hillsborough Beautification Foundation. This attractive small park is located on the grounds of the town Hall at the corner of El Camino and Floribunda Avenue.

Originally called the Hillsborough Water Conservation Park, the park was built in 1989 to demonstrate water conservation techniques for the benefit of homeowners in the town and in surrounding communities. Native, low-water use and drought-tolerant plants create a charming garden utilizing mulch and an automatic drip irrigation system. The park was funded by grants from the State of California and contributions from private citizens and local garden clubs.
