10th Annual Hillsborough Memorial Day Parade Carnival & Music Festival

Our community will kick off the celebration Monday, May 27, 2019, starting with the PARADE! We have floats walking and riding through town in honor of this patriotic holiday, celebrating our community and our country.

Returning this year are the San Mateo County Horsemen’s Association Color Guard, the San Mateo Marching Band, the Burlingame High School Band,  our schools, our dignitaries, community services organizations and so much more. See below for larger list.

The PARADE starts at 10:30am at Town Hall, with the line up beginning at 9:30am. The route goes straight up Floribunda, left on Eucalyptus, finishing at North Hillsborough Elementary School. HCSD’s  Superintendent of Schools, Louann Carlomagno, will be the parade announcer at the Floribunda circle and Larry Raffo is back as our announcer at North School!

The festivities will be on the North School field!  The OBSERVANCE CEREMONY will be right after the end of the parade, at approximately 11:45am. The MUSIC FESTIVAL will begin immediately afterwards around noon.

There is still time to join the parade. Please fill out the application form by clicking here.  Line up is at Town Hall at 9:30am. All float participants will be receiving line up information the week before the parade. To view the parade map, click here.

At 11:45am will be the ceremony where we honor the fallen and all our service men and women who have served to protect our freedoms in our country.

Games, crafts, petting zoo, and dunk tank are all part of the fun again this year!

STAY FOR LUNCH!  Bring your picnic blanket!  Food trucks will offer a variety to choose from and the Ice Cream truck is back this year.

All festivities end at roughly 2:30 p.m.
