Sadly, we are currently in the midst of the COVID-19 pandemic, and we hope our Hillsborough residents are staying safe and healthy.

We also continue to be at risk for wildfires, earthquakes and other unexpected events, so it is important to always be ready for these emergencies.

On September 13th, Hillsborough Neighborhood Network (HNN) will host a Virtual Neighborfest to promote emergency preparedness, Neighbors Helping Neighbors and Neighborhood Resilience. The event is sponsored by the Town of Hillsborough, the Hillsborough Police Department (HPD) and the Central County Fire Department (CCFD).

We all miss seeing friends and neighbors, so let everyone know and sign up for this fun and interactive event! We will have presentations by HPD, CCFD and a Kahoot safety/emergency prep quiz for families. There will be prizes for families with the highest quiz scores.

We would love your participation and feedback. Hope to see everyone at Virtual Neighborfest 2020! In the meantime, check out this video by HNN Committee member Dennis Tom on what to include in an E-Prep Kit:
