Town of Hillsborough Reopening Plans

Update (July 26, 2021) - In accordance with the recommendation issued by San Mateo County for their government buildings, the Town of Hillsborough now requires masks indoor for all visitors and staff, regardless of vaccination status. We will continue to monitor County guidance and update this page with any changes or modifications.

July 1st - Town Hall has reopened for the public to visit the planning counter, finance department, and other business activities. In accordance with State law, unvaccinated visitors must wear a mask and maintain social distancing from others. The Town anticipates opening the Town Hall for meetings and other gatherings on September 1st.

  • September 1st - Town Hall re-opens for meetings and other gatherings
  • September 10th - 15th - Council Chambers Serving as Vote Center
  • October 11th - First in-person City Council meeting
  • October 4th - First in-person ADRB meeting

All dates are tentative and subject to change.

Town Hall is open from 8:00am to 5:00pm Monday to Thursday and 8:00am to 12:00pm Friday.
